Investor Visa

A person who is intending to come from outside the UK/EU as investor the Untied Kingdom can apply for an investor’s visa to invest at least £750,000 in the UK.

Visa Period

A person who is intending to become an investor can be eligible for a visa up to a maximum of 4 years

Requirements

• You must have not less than £1 million of your own funds to invest in the UK that is not held in trust or
• You must own personal assets after all liabilities that is worth more than £2 million and
• You have not less than £1 million under your control in the UK, and can include money loaned by a financial institution regulated by the Financial Services Authority
• Intend to invest not less than £750,000 in active and trading UK-registered companies;
• You must be able to provide evidence of sufficient funds to meet you and your dependants maintenance and accommodation without recourse to public Your dependant family will be allowed to join you as dependants, and a
• Intend to make the UK your main home, and;
• Can support yourself and your dependants.

Types of investments available:

• Unit trusts
• Private companies
• Property companies with the exception that you invest initially at least £750,000 and remaining £250,000 in property

• You will not be able to invest in property companies including construction, manufactures and retailers who own premise or offshore companies
• You will not be able to keep your investment capital in a bank or building society, unless after the initial £750,000 is invested
• You will be eligible to apply for indefinite leave to remain in the United Kingdom after 4 years under the investor’s visa
